Working concept · v0.1 — for partner & investor review
Franschhoek mountains at golden hour with a single trail visible

Cross-cutting · not a vertical

Tourism is the demand engine.

Every bednight, every cover, every trail booking flows through one of four tourism axes — and feeds every tenant on the campus.

The thesis

Africa's growing edge is eco-tourism. Chefs and rangers are the engine.

We don't run tourism as a separate vertical because every vertical already produces tourism revenue. Bednights flow through Sportif training camps, ranger expeditions, chef masterclasses and founder retreats. One operator, four flows, one bookings stack.

Eco-tourism

Rangers + Chefs

Trail-to-table experiences. Multi-day mountain expeditions ending in a chef-led campus dinner.

Food tourism

Chefs + Studio

Masterclasses, sommelier weekends, pop-up residencies. Content captured live.

Performance tourism

Sportif + Rangers

Pro athletes camp on-site; the public books shoulder-experiences (gravel rides, trail runs, recovery stays).

Founder retreats

Ventures + Studio

Off-site weeks for portfolio companies — work, train, eat, ship.

NGO & industry partners

Tourism we want at the table.

The bodies that already represent South African tourism — we want them on the founding partners list, not as logos in a footer.

South African Tourism

National brand custodian — Africa's eco-tourism narrative.

Cape Town Tourism

The metro feeder market — international arrivals & city pairings.

Wesgro

Western Cape trade & investment promotion.

Franschhoek Wine Valley

Local DMO — wine, food, accommodation orchestration.

FEDHASA

National hospitality industry body — workforce pipeline.

SATSA

Inbound tour operator network — channel partner.

Partner logos to be added once LOIs are signed. Use the LOI form to register a tourism partnership.

Where it lands

Trail-to-table. The signature WeGroYou experience.

Three days in the Drakenstein with a Will of Africa-trained ranger. End at the campus canteen with a Franschhoek Hospitality Academy chef. The whole thing captured by NXT Studio's content team. Sold as one bookable experience.
